Access to and use of jessicafaithmarshall.com and the products and services available through jessicafaithmarshall.com are subject to the following terms, conditions and notices. By using the Services, you are agreeing to all of the Terms of Service, as may be updated by us from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms of Service.

(True Faith Vintage) All vintage & pre-loved clothing sold on jessicafaithmarshall.com are laundered and cleaned properly before sale.

Returns and Exchanges 

(True Faith Vintage) Within 30 days of purchase, you can return or exchange an item. (Returns) We offer full refunds of funds paid for vintage and pre-loved garment(s) purchased through jessicafaithmarshall.com, but not free shipping for returns. You will be responsible for paying for shipping the item to return or exchange an item. Exchanges) If you return an item seeking an exchange, you can request which item you would like to exchange. If there is a price difference between the item sent back and the item you wish to exchange, we will charge the difference in addition to the shipping costs.

*JFM Custom Designs are NOT returnable nor can you exchange a custom design for another item on jessicafaithmarshall.com.

*Zines and art merch are not refundable.

Privacy Policy

We do not share or distribute ANY information you enter into jessicafaithmarshall.com or store on Your Account for purchases and use of our online retail services and product purchase. We prioritize your privacy and keep your information private.

Custom Designs & Alterations
To begin the process, I will ask you to come in for a preliminary consultation. I will ask you many questions, but if you don’t know exactly what you want, that’s okay too! The first appointment just helps me to get an idea of what you want (occasion, budget, deadline, personal style and preferences, likes and dislikes.) I will take notes and we will discuss possibilities and estimate budgeting. In this first meeting, nothing is final. For alterations, we can see the garments on your figure so I can take notes for the redesign sketches (if needed.)
Budget and Pricing
In the first consultation, my estimations are very rough so they may be more or less depending on final sketches and materials we agree on. I will ask you for a range of much you would like to spend (if possible, please offer me a minimum – maximum range.)  After I get a range, I can start sketching. I will sketch as many ideas as needed until you decide on a final design. As I present you sketches, I will give you an idea of the price for each design and fabric options you can choose from. If you don’t like the fabric options or sketches, I will offer you as many possibilities as necessary until we find you the perfect design to accommodate your budget, occasion, fabric / color needs, and deadline.
Time Frame & The Fitting Process
If you have a specific deadline, I will design a garment that accommodates your timeline. The design process includes the following steps.
  1. Preliminary Consultation (Complimentary Coffee & Tea provided in my atelier!)
  2. Approval of Sketches and Business Policies
  3. 1st Sample Fitting (Sometimes requires 2-3 sample fittings)
  4. Final Sample Fitting
    1. Finalize Fabric
    2. Finalize All Changes and Fit
    3. 50% deposit of payment
  5. Final Product fitting (Sometimes requires more than one)
    1. Remaining 50% deposit payment
Payment
In the Final Sample fitting, I require a 50% deposit and photographs of the sample of your body. After the final sample is approved, the final garment fabric MUST be finalized and approved. You also have the option to shop for fabrics with me. I have all colors and swatches of fabric options in my studio, but many clients prefer to see the fabrics at the fabric store. Once the fabric is purchased, there is no option to change the fabric unless you cover the cost of the first and second fabric. The same rule applies to the final garment – once the final sample and design is approved in the final sample fitting, there is no option to change the design unless you pay for the new revised garment and the original one. However, the samples and fittings prior to the final sample fitting are all included in the original price. No need to be concerned before then, we can make as many changes as you’d like! (Within reason if you have a tight deadline.)

One Year Paint Warranty (Custom Painted Leather)

If your painted merchandise chips or gets damaged within one year of purchase, Jessica Faith Marshall will repaint damaged parts free of charge. The only requirement is you must cover the shipping yourself.

Terms of Sale

By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the terms and conditions of Jessica Faith Marshall NYC Inc. (jessicafaithmarshall.com). All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. 

(a) Our Contract 

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.

(b) Shipping and Inventory Variations

All products are painted in Bushwick. Standard processing takes 3-5 days for item to ship. Status emails will keep you updated with your order. We currently only ship to US addresses (charge for shipping may vary). Jessica Faith Marshall NYC Inc. only offers standard shipping (5-10 business days unless postal delays occur which we are not responsible for). This only varies based on the selling volume of the item you are ordering at the time of purchase.

(c) Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the ‘Total Cost’.

(d) Payment 

Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfill the transaction. You will receive an email with your order summary immediately after payment succeeds. Forms of payment we accept currently: credit, debit, and PayPal.

All photography, videos, design, products, and content are owned by JFM Design (jessicafaithmarshall.com). Taking credit for ANY content on this site without permission from Jessica Faith Marshall is a violation of the jessicafaithmarshall.com Terms and Conditions.

Reviews

We want your feedback and allow comments to be posted on the jessicafaithmarshall.com product pages. However, offensive language in any comments will be be deleted. We are not responsible or affiliated with any of the comments posted on the jessicafaithmarshall.com pages by other customers.

Questions, Comments, and Complaints

Waiver

If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

 

Entire Agreement

The above Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement of the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and Jessicafaithmarshall.com. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms of Service will be effective only if in writing and signed by a Director of Jessica Faith Marshall Design (Jessicafaithmarshall.com).
